Today we’re combining bulk shopping and online shopping with picking your saving battles, into one giant Simplicity trick.
This is a great program for things you use regularly, and thousands of items qualify. Everything from cat litter to toilet paper to air filters to diapers. Even grocery and beauty items! You get free shipping and an extra discount off Amazon’s price, and you can pick your delivery interval – anywhere from 1 month to 6 months. Items are automatically delivered to your door on a regular basis. It’s the ultimate no-brainer! No remembering to put Mac & Cheese on your shopping list; no forgetting the shampoo again, not to mention the can’t-live-without-it Pirate’s Booty. 😉 (Sorry, I know I’m a grown up, but that name makes me laugh every time.)
Amazon sometimes has coupons available that you can apply to your purchase of certain items – look under “Promotions.” And if they charge sales tax in your state, it may be less than what you’d pay in a store (They charge state sales tax in AZ, for instance, but not the individual city taxes). What’s even better is that there are no fees and no commitments – you can cancel your Subscribe and Save subscription at any time.
I’ve barely scratched the surface of this program. (For instance, I just discovered that my daughter’s favorite Mac & Cheese is available for Subscribe and Save while writing this post, AND it’s cheaper than regular price at my favorite grocery store.) It’s definitely worth looking into further.
